Anna's Weigh In

This last week was Anna's one-month doctor appointment. We were all excited and anxious to see how she was doing. You see, we tend to produce children that are on the low end of the growth chart (with the exception of head size - the poor girls don't stand a chance). So, doctors appointments have historically been about us finding out how far below average our daughters' heights and weights are. Lauren, at almost 3 1/2, can still fit in some of her 2T clothes.

Anna, was 6 lbs 6 ozs when she left the hospital and was 25th percentile in height and 15th percentile in weight at her one-week appointment. What a difference a month makes. On Monday, she tipped the scales at 10 lbs 4 ozs - almost 4 pounds heavier than when she was born! And moved up to the 70th percentile. We knew she was a hearty eater, but perhaps this explains why Heather has been so worn out.

Don't call it a come back. Anna's been here for weeks!
